ValDean Entertainment is a production company dedicated to creating high-quality and original content that resonates across multiple entertainment platforms. It was founded by industry veteran Al Thompson in 2007.

ValDean has rolled out a slate of digital content that has garnered buzz in both traditional and digital entertainment. “Johnny B. Homeless”, ValDean’s first digital series, won the 2009 NYTVF People’s Choice Award, and premiered on Comedy Central’s Atom.com. “Johnny B. Homeless” starred Al Thompson as the title role, with guest star appearances from Kenan Thompson (Saturday Night Live).

ValDean has followed up “Johnny B. Homeless” with an impressive slate of digital series covering all genres. Most recently “Odessa”, a Sci-Fi series, won Best Actor at the 2011 NYTVF and also earned ValDean a development deal with the Syfy channel. “Odessa” was also selected as a finalist in the NBCUniversal diversity showcase.

Producers Al Thompson and Brian Rolling have appeared on numerous digital panels positioning ValDean Entertainment as a leader in the new digital revolution. ValDean Entertainment continues to build on it’s impressive slate of content, providing networks and web portals with a one stop shop for all of their digital content needs.
